Hi everyone! My name is Kate, and along with my husband Bob, we are the proud owners of all three Poppy’s Playroom locations. I am a busy mom to six amazing kids—one boy and five girls—who keep life exciting and full of joy every day.

We love spending time together as a family, raising our little farm which includes chickens, cows, and dogs. When I can find a little extra time, I enjoy playing volleyball and coaching at Farmington High School.

At our centers, I often fill in for teachers when they are sick or on vacation, so you might see me popping in from time to time. If you do, please say hello—I’d love to meet you and your little ones personally. I’m excited to be part of your child’s journey at Poppy’s Playroom and hope to see you soon!

I previously served as the Director of the Layton location, and now focus mainly on administrative work, helping everything at Poppy’s run smoothly. I love being part of a team that creates a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children and families.

Throughout my experience, I’ve had the opportunity to support children at many different stages of development, helping them grow, learn, and build confidence in a safe, nurturing environment. I strive to create a space where every child feels valued, encouraged, and excited to explore the world around them.

I believe in leading with patience, kindness, and consistency. I love building strong connections not only with the children, but with their families as well.
